Yeshe the Yak

Yeshe is a gentle, mysterious and curious yak. He’s very fond of children especially those who might carefully stoke his nose or tickle his fringe. 

He is a one-person puppet about 6 feet tall and 12 feet long with a very articulate and emotive head. He is accompanied by a handler.

Yeshe is available for walkabout performances of up to three 40-minute sets a day. 

Suitable for outdoor settings or large indoor spaces.
Appropriate for all ages.

Created & Constructed

Yeshe the Yak was originally made by Andrew Kim for the 2000 MayDay Parade for In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre (Minneapolis, USA).
