Thingumajig Theatre worked with a group of 9 adult artists to create the Skipton Sheep for Skipton Puppet Festival 2011. We produced 4 sheep puppets, a masked sheep dog character and two shepherd handlers. The flock made its proud debut in a Grand Parade through the town, then went on walkabout for the assembled crowd at the parade’s end and throughout the rest of the festival. The keen puppeteers have taken the sheep out on further outings since the festival.
