Handmade Parade

Handmade Parade creates bold, colourful events through a unique coming-together of professional parade artists and community participation. Since the first annual parade in Hebden Bridge in 2008, Handmade Parade has generated a riot of stunning procession and pageant art, including giant puppets, stilt walkers, a samba band, a parade band, masks, costumes and lanterns.

Founded in 2008 by Andrew Kim, Thingumajig Theatre started as co-producer and has evolved to become a partner when the event became it’s own year-round organisation.
